Welcome to our Green HeArts Studio where we create “art from the heart.”

Hello! I’m Chuck and I am an artist who creates custom house portraits by hand in fascinating mix medium called “ink and wash.” Each piece is painted with professional grade watercolor paint (Some which are handmade local in Eureka Springs AR), sketch with a permanent archival ink, and high-quality Arches paper that has been being made in a village region of France for hundreds of years. Each home portrait is an original work of art that captures the beauty, character, and uniqueness of a home.
Whereas I paint portraits of houses, small business buildings and churches, my wife Julie, also an artist, creates one-of-a-kind, charming and whimsical paintings with her own personal style on vintage century old windows saved from homes built in the early 1900’s found in the Four States area. So, our creative passions have merged together to preserve and honor the memories of a home.
 At this time Julie has painted over 300 panes of timeless glass, however they are not for sale. They are a labor of love. As she rises early before dawn and paints each meticulous pane, she pours her heart and her essence into each of the thousands of brushes stroked colors to blend with the memories of all the past lives who over the last one hundred years looked though smiles and tears out these windows. It brings her great joy to know these, built by craftsman’s hand, wooden windows and their unspoken legacy didn’t find their destiny in a landfill. Some of her paintings can be seen on our Facebook page but to be truly appreciated one must see them in person such as when they were recently displayed at Spiva Center for the Arts in Joplin, MO and Art Central in Carthage, MO.
